Removing The Tool-less Top Cover

 

Locate The Release Buttons Push The Buttons In Whilst Pressing The Buttons Slide The Cover Backwards Lift The Top Panel

Locate The Release Buttons

Push The Buttons In

Whilst Pressing The Buttons
Slide The Cover Backwards

Lift The Cover To Remove

 

Installing/Removing Tool-less External Tray (Under 10 Secs)

 

Line Up Hard Drive Screw Holes Insert Hard Drive Into Tray Press Hard Drive Down Firmly Check Screw Holes Are Lined Up

Line Up Hard Drive Screw Holes

Insert Hard Drive Into Tray

Press Hard Drive Down Firmly

Check Screw Holes Are Lined Up 
       
 Check Screw Holes Are Lined Up  Gently Push Drive From The Bottom  Grasp The Hard Drive As It Is Ejected  Carefully Remove Drive

Turn The Tray 90 Degrees To
See The Screw Holes

Place Your Hand On Top Of
The Drive And Apply Slight
Pressure To Dislodge The Drive

Turn The Tray Flat And Apply
Further Pressure To Eject The Drive,
Ensuring The You Use Your Fingers
To Secure The Drive As
It Becomes Dislodged.

Carefully Remove Drive

 

Tool-less Backplane


Locate The Locking Bar Put Finger On The Bar Push The Bar Back

Locate Locking Bar

Rest Finger On Locking Bar

Pull Back Locking Bar To Release
     
 Pull Vertically Using The Handles  Pull Directly Vertically  Remove The Expander

Use The Cut-Outs On The Backplane
To Grip The Backplane

Pull Equally Vertically

Remove The Backplane
